From the combination of imagination, sound poetics and dreamlike imagery come the songs contained in “Hidden Voices”.
Voices that no longer have instruments to express themselves and that are transported, almost embodied, by the notes of songs such as "The Odd," a piece capable of leading the listener into the meanders of eccentricities that make up daily life on earth and that, through sudden rhythmic and melodic shifts, wants to express all the insecurity due to those oddities.
There are small details, almost insignificant to many, that are told through the more impressive sounds of "Centaurus" and are strongly related to the discovery of an agricultural wreckage in the middle of the fields near Rome.
Centaurus, the tractor, is now just a rusty, abandoned carcass that cannot tell its story because it is without an owner, but it is also a symbol of the time that has passed and the continuous change of human society.
“Canonae”, through its circular or "palindromic" form, is the musical representation of the concept that all forms of communication, whether gestural, vocal or aural, follow symbologies, or objective rules, to which all must refer in order to understand each other.
In “Insights in the Meanwhile”, references to bucolic and dreamlike images return, which, evoked through the dilated tempos of a ballad, are meant to guide the listener on a long journey, through desolate places, to rediscover his mind.
Still talking about silent voices, “Doublebirth Lullaby” is dedicated to the birth of two very special children for the whole group, which over the years has become like a family.
When creating the song, our intention was to give voice to the feelings of the two parents-to-be (Tiziano and Francesco) and indelibly imprint them in a song with a strongly melodic and varied character.
“Doublebirth Lullaby” however, it is also a way of giving voice to those who do not yet have a voice, to those hidden voices who will soon speak out to the world, to those to whom we bequeath our album mute with words but full of real life.
